One dead and one injured after passenger ejected from car during a crash in St. Johns County

ST. JOHNS, Fla — Reports from the Florida Highway Patrol Office state that Sunday at approximately 3 a.m. on I-95, just north of county road 210, a Jeep was traveling southbound in the left lane. For reasons unconfirmed, the driver lost control and exited the roadway to the left.

As a result, the front left of the Jeep collided with the guardrail. The momentum from the crash caused the car to rotate counter-clockwise and overturn onto the guardrail, located in the center median. The Jeep then came to a final rest facing east.
