Overnight detours planned next week at Interstate 95 in St. Johns County

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — Resurfacing construction is expected to take place on Interstate 95 from State Road 207 to International Golf Parkway from Sunday, Jan. 29 through Tuesday, Jan. 31 in St. Johns County.

A closure of the State Road 16 exit ramp from I-95 north is necessary for drainage work to be completed. The ramp will close nightly at 8 p.m. and reopen the following morning, by 6 a.m.

During the ramp closure, drivers will be detoured to exit at International Golf Parkway to I-95 south to State Road 16.

Drivers are being asked to slow down and take caution during the resurfacing improvements.

The resurfacing improvements project is expected to be finished by winter, 2023, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
