ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — Investigators are looking into what started a deadly double-wide mobile home fire in St. John’s county.
It happened in the Palm Valley area on Clatter Bridge Road.
At St. Johns County deputy told Action News Jax he noticed the smoke when he was going over the Palm Valley Bridge Tuesday morning and that’s when he called dispatch. When deputies arrived, they were told a person lived inside but unfortunately when they found that person, they were already dead.
Deputies had the road blocked for over 5 hours.
The St. Johns County Fire Marshal and Florida State Fire Marshal are both investigating the cause of the fire. The name of the victim has not been released.
