Person shot in home in northwest Jacksonville

The JSO responded to the scene of a person shot on the Westside.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office found a person suffering from gunshot wounds at a home in the 3300 block of Lowell Avenue late Saturday night.

The victim was taken to a local hospital by the Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department.

The JSO did not release any information on the victim.
