Woman shoots at boyfriend, bullet hits bystander at Jacksonville motel after biker outing

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A bystander was grazed by a bullet after a woman tried to shoot her boyfriend at a Jacksonville motel on Saturday night.

A group of people were at the Econo Lodge on Cagle Road after a biker outing, according to police.

Police said a woman was trying to shoot her boyfriend but the bullet missed and hit a woman she knew.

The woman was not seriously injured, according to police.

She was treated and released.

A viewer tells Action News Jax they saw police at the Econo Lodge beginning around 8:30 p.m.

Officers said they are questioning the shooter, and she will likely be charged.
