A spokesman for The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said Sunday that police are investigating the discovery of a man found dead in a car in the Lake Shore area Sunday as a possible homicide.
At a briefing about 6 p.m., police said a resident of the Northside neighborhood found the man in his 20s dead inside a car outside the home and reported it to police.
Police are conducting an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death, but are considering it suspicious and perhaps involving foul play.
It appears to be an isolated incident, police said.
