Report: Jacksonville truck driver arrested, accused of kidnapping two Texas children

A Jacksonville truck driver has been arrested, according to The Associated Press, on suspicion of kidnapping two children in Texas.

The 47-year-old man is accused of abducting the children from a town in Texas and taking them all the way to Arizona before being caught.

Investigators said police found the children being held against their will in the sleeper cab of Marshall Pendergrass' semitruck.

The children are brother and sister -- 12 and 14 years old.

The pair were reported missing Friday. Police said Pendergrass is a former neighbor of the children's family.

Investigators said the kids appear to be OK.

Pendergrass is in custody and faces federal charges.
