Sheriff's Office said detectives have identified 2 suspects in teen's slaying

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating 18-year-old Deshawn Terell Minor’s death as a homicide, after his body was found Nov. 25 near the Brookwood Community Center.

The Sheriff's Office said Homicide Unit detectives have identified two suspects in the slaying, Oneil Exantus, 18, and David Marc Robinson, 18.

According to the Sheriff's Office, the U.S. Marshall Service and the Terre Haute Police Department located and arrested Exantus in Indiana.

Robinson was already jailed for an unrelated robbery case, and is now facing charges in the killing of Minor, the Sheriff's Office said.

A man found Minor’s severely decomposed body Sunday in the woods behind Beachwood Park’s baseball field in Sandalwood, steps away from a playground.
