A 55-year-old man told SJSO that a woman, believed to be Mosher, knocked on his door and asked for help getting her vehicle out of a ditch. When the man walked out to help the woman, a man wearing a mask, believed to be Cherry, had a gun pointed at the man. The man ran back in his home and the man wearing the mask fired two shots at him, deputies said.

The man and woman were believed to be traveling in a silver Ford Mustang with front and rear bumper damage and a black convertible top. They were both wearing blue long sleeved shirts and dark pants. Deputies said the woman had long red hair and the man had dark hair and a goatee. The Mustang was recovered by deputies at the home on Juanita Drive.

Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of Mosher and Cherry is asked to contact SJSO Detective David Blanton at (904) 209-2193. You can also remain anonymous and possibly be eligible for a cash reward by calling CrimeStoppers of N.E. Florida at 1-(888) 277-TIPS (8477).
