Deputies are searching for Luis Maldonado Sr., the owner of a fence company who is accused of ripping off at least four people who paid him for work.
Action News Jax spoke with a woman last week who said she hired Maldonado's company, M&M Fences, to build her a fence but the work was never done.
She said Maldonado never responded to her calls or emails after she wrote him a check for $1,500.
St. Johns County Sheriff's Office said Maldonado scammed at least four people, two in summer 2015 and two in April 2016.
He has four warrants for grand theft.
