ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office will vote this month on whether or not to unionize. If a majority of employees vote in favor, they will get a representative to help facilitate collective bargaining with the Sheriff’s Office’ and county leadership.

All full-time employees under the roles of Deputy Sheriff and Corporal who have been with the agency since on or before December 20th will get the chance to voice their opinions during an election on February 20th and February 21st.
This excludes the Internal Affairs Deputy Sheriff and Internal Affairs Corporal.

- Northwest Field Office (conference room)
- 724 Flora Branch Boulevard, St. Johns, Florida
- 5 a.m. - 7 a.m.
- St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office (squad room)
- 4015 Lewis Speedway, St. Augustine, Florida
- 4 p.m. - 6 p.m.

The election is being held using secret ballots. Voters should mark their ballot in secret and refrain from signing it.
Mail-in ballots are also available.
The final tally will be held at the headquarters in St. Augustine on the 21st at 6 p.m.
