FHP: Man in critical condition after rollover crash in St. Johns County

ELKTON, Fla. — Florida Highway Patrol confirmed that a 67-year-old man is in the hospital after his pickup truck flipped on State Road 207 Tuesday night.

According to the crash report, the truck was traveling southbound on State Road 207 approaching Scoville Road in the outside lane around 7:30 p.m. While negotiating a curse, the driver lost control, crossed the inside lane and right turn lane and and began to spin counter-clockwise. He entered the grass median and hit a road sign, causing the truck to flip onto its roof.

The man was transported to HCA Florida Orange Park in critical condition.

FHP said that the driver was wearing a seatbelt.
