Whataburger in St. Johns County

ST. JOHNS, Fla. — Whataburger lovers in St. Johns County, rejoice! You don’t have to travel far any more to enjoy their fresh, customized burgers.

The first Whataburger in the county is now open in St. Johns at 2850 County Rd 210 W.

The new location has a different look than Whataburger fans may be used to, with a “forward-thinking design with features including a state-of-the-art kitchen, an open-concept dining room and double drive-thru lanes,” according to a news release about the opening.

There is also a custom mural in the restaurant that features hometown landmarks.

Whataburger will also be opening a new Jacksonville restaurant in the Oakleaf area at 8239 Old Middleburg S Rd later this spring.

Combined, the two restaurants bring a total of more than 190 jobs to the local community, according to the release.

Both restaurants will serve the community through their dining rooms open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. and the drive-thru will be open 24/7. Curbside pickup and delivery for online orders will be available in the coming weeks.
