ST. JOHNS, Fla. — Police charged a motorcyclist whose post on social media during a 4-county high-speed chase helped authorities track him down.

Stevens Marin, 42, of St. Augustine, who led police on a chase as he weaved through traffic and between semis, with eluding police at high speeds and reckless driving

The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office announced the charges on Monda and The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office - which also participated in the chase - released a booking report and mugshot on Wednesday.

Marin was able to evade deputies on his motorcycle during the four-county chase, but investigators were able to track him down because of a social media post he made during the chase.
