St. Johns teacher fired after accusations of sharing "inappropriate pictures" with students

Dionne Younce

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — A St. Johns County teacher who reportedly sent "inappropriate photos" to students on Snapchat has been fired, the school district confirmed.

Nease High School teacher Dionne Younce was suspended after the alleged inappropriate communications with students.

The school board confirmed her termination at a meeting Tuesday.

Action News Jax received student files that describe what students said happened.

One student said they shared messages and had “long casual conversations about casual stuff and were flirting.”

Another student said they were "sending nude photos to each other and did that for a while.”

Yet another student said they “noticed a fellow football player got the same Snap which was Ms. Younce in a bra only.”

We asked students who were once in her class at Nease High what they had heard.

“She was Snapchatting students like inappropriate pictures, people I know personally,” said student Ryan Baker.
