State fire marshal called to investigate ‘suspicious’ fire in Hyde Park neighborhood

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department is investigating a double structure fire off San Juan Avenue Wednesday.

Firefighters responded to the 6300 block of Fabian Drive where a “heavy fire” broke out in a residential structure.

JFRD announced on Twitter the fire appears suspicious and has requested assistance from the state fire marshal.
