A parent waiting to pick up their child told Phillips lights were off in the classrooms during the lockdown.

The following message from the school's principal was shared with parents:

Hello Raines families this is principal Hall.

I am calling to make you aware that all students and staff are safe, and we just lifted a code red lockdown.

Again, all students and staff are safe and we just lifted the school from a code red lockdown.

The school was placed on a code red due to reports of a possible suspicious person or persons on campus.  The campus was searched and it was determined that there was no threat to the school.

Because of these reports, the school will remain on code yellow for the remainder of the day, and additional police officers will be on campus to ensure a safe dismissal.  Again, the school will remain on code yellow and additional officers are on campus to oversee dismissal.
