BRUNSWICK, Ga. — Right now, police are trying to find a masked teen who tried to break into an occupied room at a local motel. Officers said he’s one of three teens, including a 15-year-old girl, who tried to push open a door.
Police said three teenagers tried to break into a room at the Coastal Inn early Tuesday morning.
The woman inside told police the teens were all wearing masks and gloves and tried to push open her door.
Police said the teens walked away and then came back and tried again. That’s when the woman called 911.

When police got there, they said they went to the back parking lot and noticed the teens near some shipping containers.
As they got closer, an officer said, the teens began to run around, but police were able to catch two of them. The third teen ran into the woods and got away, police said
According to a report, an officer chased the teen but lost sight of him.
Officers said they charged a 15-year-old girl and 16-year-old boy with disorderly conduct, loitering and prowling, among other charges.
Police said one of the suspects told them they were trying to visit a boy in that room, but wouldn’t give the boy's name.
