Tracking four areas in the tropics

The First Alert Weather team is tracking four areas in the tropics - three tropical waves and a low pressure.

A tropical wave is located in the central Caribbean Sea. It will track westward over the coming days. The conditions are not great for this to develop.

The other waves are in the central Atlantic Ocean and the west coast of Africa. Both are likely to become depressions over the next few days. Meteorologist Corey Simma says they are slow moving to begin with and early indications are that these will stay out to sea.

The low pressure is currently southeast of Bermuda and is tracking toward the east coast of the United States. The conditions aren’t favorable for it to become something. It would have little to no impact on northeast Florida and southeast Georgia if it stays north.
