JACKSONVILLE, Fla — The University of North Florida Presidential Search Committee is inviting members of the community to take part in a listening session as it searches for the university’s eighth president.

In a release, the university says, "The listening session is an opportunity for all stakeholders to share their perspectives on the qualities and characteristics they think are important for the next president."

The listening session will be on Friday, April 10, from 2:00 to 2:30 in the Talon Room inside Osprey Commons, or you can attend online via Zoom.

If you cannot attend but would still like to provide input, you can email Krisha Creal at Funk Associates. Funk Associates is a search firm that is assisting the committee with the listening sessions.

The search comes after then-President Moez Limayem left to become the President of the University of South Florida. Dr. Angela Garcia Falconetti is currently the university’s interim president.
