JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A candlelight vigil was held Saturday for the victims of former Jacksonville pediatric dentist Howard Schneider.
The vigil was held in front of Schneider’s office at 1871 University Boulevard.
Brandi Motley is the mother who sparked the campaign to have Schneider's practice shut down for good in May. Schneider gave up his 52-year-old license to practice dentistry in the state of Florida shortly after Motley's campaign began.
She attended Saturday’s vigil with her husband and daughter, Briel. She said she is not giving up in her search for justice.
“I refuse to give up until he is labeled a child abuser just like Schneider labeled my daughters mouth and face with the abuse of his hands – and there are 20 people out here doing the same,” Motley said.
