Nassau County Sheriff's Office arrests alleged gunman in Callahan shooting

CALLAHAN, Fla. — The Nassau County Sheriff's Office has arrested Joshua Caroll, according to it's Facebook page.

ORIGINAL STORY: 

The Nassau County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public's help tracking down a man wanted for attempted murder and armed robbery after he reportedly shot a Callahan man.

Joshua Carroll, 19, is described as a white man who is 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 165 pounds and has brown eyes and brown hair. NCSO said Carroll is from Nassau County, but does not own a vehicle, so he may be traveling with other people. Investigators say he may still be in Florida, but could also have traveled to Georgia, Texas or Alabama.

The warrant for Carroll’s arrest was issued Friday. WOKV has confirmed he is believed to be the suspect who shot a 71-year-old man in his Callahan home this past weekend, during an armed robbery.

The victim's 16-year-old grandson, Pierce Cribbs, has already been arrested for his alleged role in these crimes. A third person, who was driving the vehicle in which they fled, has not yet been identified or located.
