PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. — Action News Jacksonville Anchor Chandler Morgan emceed the Wishmaker’s Ball on Saturday, an event that raised a record-breaking $1.22 million for the Make-a-Wish chapter in Jacksonville.
The event, which was held in Ponte Vedra Beach, featured stories of local children who have experienced their wishes or are “wish kids” in waiting.
The money raised will go to help children who are battling critical illnesses get their wishes as a way to encourage them and lift their spirits.
This was the fifth time Chandler co-hosted the event.
