JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Officers are investigating on Lady Smith Lane after a woman was shot in the shoulder, arm and hand inside a home, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says.
The call came in as a home invasion but now officers are working to find out exactly what happened that led to her injuries.

The woman was transported to a nearby hospital with injuries that are not considered to be life-threatening, according to police.
