JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said a woman was sitting inside a home in the Riverview neighborhood when she was shot by someone outside.
Police say the woman was shot sometime before 8:30 p.m. Tuesday and is expected to survive.
JSO says it is uncertain whether the woman was targeted or not.
Another person was inside the home and was not injured.
