JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The 50-year-old man who was shocked Thursday while working on a cherry picker in Riverside is recovering.
The man, Anthony Smith, is an employee of Washington Services. Action News Jax looked into the company and didn't find any complaints.
The victim was pressure washing and painting a building inside a hydraulic lift when he was shocked by power lines, Jacksonville police said.
Smith was taken to UF Health Jacksonville and then taken to UF Health Gainesville for treatment.
JEA and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration are investigating.
Action News Jax is working to learn the man's condition.
