They’re entrusted to protect the country, but now, they’re accused of not protecting each other.

According to the Military Times, the Marine Corps called on the Naval Criminal Investigative Service to investigate 267 images of female service members sent via Dropbox, shared in a folder called "Hoe's Hoin."….

The article says some images show the woman in collages, fully clothed on one side, nude on the other.

This isn’t the first time a military branch stands accused of this behavior.

In a final U.S. Navy administrative report, sailors  admitted they spied and taped female service members while they showered on the USS Wyoming.

Missile technician Charles Greaves is serving two years for illegally making and sharing the videos.

In March, according to the Times, members of a now-defunct Facebook group called Marines United shared nude photos of female service members, made derogatory comments about them and threatened some of the women.

The Marines Corps says it investigated 123 people, and 55 have been have been punished.
