JACKSON, Miss. — Police in Mississippi have charged a second teen with capital murder after a woman was shot and killed in a Jackson home.
WAPT and WLBT reported Wednesday that Jackson police arrested a 13-year-old in connection with the March 17 shooting death of Teshundra Fortune. The news came just days after police arrested a 15-year-old in the incident, which occurred during a burglary on West Silas Brown Street, police said.
Police said the older teen also shot a man March 16 at a University Boulevard gas station, the news outlets reported. The man survived the shooting, according to WLBT.
