Jason Alexander, a childhood friend of Spears who was married to the singer for 55 hours in 2004 before the union was annulled, was arrested in Thousand Oaks, California, the Los Angeles Times reported.

According to Capt. Cameron Henderson of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called at about 2 p.m. EDT about a trespasser, the newspaper reported.

Deputies ran a records check after encountering Alexander, Variety reported. Deputies discovered that Alexander had an out-of-county warrant and was arrested, according to the entertainment outlet.

There were no injuries related to the incident, deputies said.

Alexander went on his Instagram Live when he approached the event’s security personnel, The Associated Press reported. In what appeared to be a mostly empty but decorated room, he told them Spears had invited him.

“She’s my first wife, my only wife,” Alexander said. “I’m her first husband. I’m here to crash the wedding.”

TMZ was the first outlet to report about Alexander’s alleged trespassing.

The 40-year-old Spears’ marriage to Asghari, 28, is her third, E! Online reported. The Grammy Award winner first met the “Black Monday” actor in 2016, when Spears was filming her “Slumber Party” music video, according to the entertainment outlet.

Spears’ second marriage was to Kevin Federline, Variety reported. They were officially divorced in 2007, and the legal battle from the split included a lengthy custody battle over the couple’s two sons, according to the entertainment outlet.

Spears’ latest nuptials come nine months after Spears announced her engagement to Asghari and shortly before she was freed from a 13-year conservatorship battle with her family, Variety reported. During the conservatorship, Spears said she was told she could not marry or have children with Asghari, the Times reported.

In May, Spears announced she had suffered a miscarriage, a month after revealing she was pregnant, according to Variety.

Thursday’s ceremony was attended by about 100 guests, including Spears’ older brother, Bryan, the Times reported. The singer’s estranged mother, father and sister, Jamie Lynn, were not present at the ceremony, according to TMZ.
