News of the change was first reported by Blast late Friday.

The rapper’s representatives said they were called Friday about the artist’s removal from the program citing his “concerning online behavior,” Variety reported.

Representatives of the Recording Academy and CBS did not respond to Variety’s request for comments.

Ye was not among the first list of performers released by the academy earlier this week, but Variety said that it may have been a planned performance.
