TULSA, Okla. — Police investigated a bizarre armed robbery that has led to a man facing charges.
Police said Kevion Hooks was arrested in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Tuesday afternoon for armed robbery, KOKI reported.
A man said Hooks came up to him with a large metal spike and took the man’s backpack and prosthetic leg in broad daylight. The man said Hooks asked him how much the items were worth.
When police arrived, they said they found Hooks with the prosthetic leg strapped to his head, KOKI reported.
They removed the leg and returned it to its owner.
Hooks has been charged with armed robbery.
