Possible infant remains found inside bag near Massachusetts apartment building

REVERE, Mass. — Human remains discovered inside a bag near an apartment building in Revere, Massachusetts, are believed to belong to an infant.

Revere Police Department officers were called out to an apartment building at 86 Dolphin Avenue in Revere just before 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to WFXT.

According to the news outlet, the man who made the discovery was dropping off trash when he saw hands and fingers inside a bag.

“I saw the arm, and hand, and fingers, and then I called 911,” Isaisa Inebom said.

Massachusetts State Police troopers were also called to the scene, WFXT reported.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is expected to take custody of the remains for further investigation, according to The Associated Press.
