Former Jaguars coach Coughlin out as Giants coach

Tom Coughlin, the first coach in Jacksonville Jaguars history, stepped down Monday as head coach of the New York Giants.

Coughlin's teams had finished 6-10 in each of the last two years.

Coughlin had coached the Giants since 2004, making him one of the longest-tentured coaches in the NFL. Coughlin won two Super Bowl titles during that period.
