Jaguars in the playoffs: Chance of snow by the end of the game in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Jaguars fans headed to Saturday’s playoff game against the Chiefs in Kansas City should not only expect chilly weather, but the First Alert Weather Team said there’s also a chance of snow.

Action News Jax First Alert Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh said the weather forecast for Kansas City on Saturday is evolving and changing, and he has included in the forecast rain and snow turning to snow. He said it’s still too early to determine if there will be much precipitation but it has the potential to have an impact on the game.

Here’s what fans going can expect:

  • Cold, potentially wet game for the Jags vs. Chiefs!
  • Temps. in the 30s with a breeze out of the northeast at 10-15 mph
  • A mix of light rain & snow gradually changing to all snow during the game into the evening
  • The avg. high for Jan. 21 in Jacksonville is 67 degrees … in Kansas City, 38 degrees.
