TROPICS: INVEST 98-L located between South Florida and Andros Island of the Bahamas. Slow development is possible with this system as it parallels the Atlantic coast through the weekend. This will elevate seas a bit off our coast during the weekend, then it moves away from the local area to start next week. It will also impact where and when the rain falls during the weekend. Stay tuned. Tropical Depression CHANTAL expected to weaken to a remnant low over the weekend, if not before.
