First Alert Weather: New Year’s Eve forecast for the Jacksonville area

There are a few clouds this morning with much cooler weather compared to yesterday.

Sunshine will be out bright today with afternoon high temperatures back close to average in the mid 60s.

New Year’s Eve festivities will be chilly in the 50s and 40s.

Low temperatures Wednesday morning on New Year’s Day will bottom out in the upper 30s and low 40s, the coldest morning since December 19 when JIA hit 33 degrees.

Sunshine through Thursday as we warm up a bit before the next storm system moves through late Friday.
