First Alert Weather: Sunday showers and chilly mornings

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Showers will be scattered around Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia on Sunday.

Rain picks up for the Interstate 95 corridor around midday with some scattered showers and pockets of occasional heavy rain. The rain tapers a bit into the afternoon and evening, but there will still be a couple of showers around TIAA Bank Field as the Jags take on the Colts.

Monday brings a few more showers with the latest cold front. The front moves across the area during the day, leaving the area and clearing the skies Monday night. Morning temperatures Tuesday through Thursday will be COLD in the 40s! The first chance for rain in 2020 moves in Friday.
