JSO investigating double shooting in Englewood neighborhood

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating a double shooting on Beney Road in Englewood.

Two men were injured, one critically, according to JSO Sgt. Lloyd. The other victim had non-life threatening injuries.

Initial investigation appears an argument outside of a club late Sunday night escalated to gunfire. It’s not immediately clear who the suspect may be.

One of the victims drove himself to Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. JSO says another victim was dropped off at the hospital after being shot in the lower leg.

JSO says two unoccupied cars were also struck by gunfire.
