Two teens hurt, 16-year-old flown to hospital after car vs. golf cart crash in Nocatee

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office said a 16-year-old was flown to a hospital after they were involved in a crash involving a car and a golf cart near a Wendy's in Nocatee Sunday.

Police said there were two teens in the golf cart. The 16-year-old that was air-lifted to the hospital was driving the cart and a 17-year-old was a passenger. The 17-year-old was also transported to the hospital.  Deputies said both teens were released on Sunday night.

Deputies didn't specify the extent of the teen's injuries or who was at fault in the crash.
