3 students hurt in bus crash on the way to school, Putnam Sheriff’s Office says

PALATKA, Fla. — Three students suffered minor injuries after a car hit a school bus in Palatka Tuesday morning.

Florida Highway Patrol said eight Palatka Junior-Senior High School students were on board when a car hit the school bus at Crill Avenue and Latesha Terrace.

The injured students were taken to Putnam County Medical Center.

FHP said the driver of the car was cited for a right-of-way violation.

The crash is being investigated by FHP.
