A cafe and popular food truck in Jacksonville have closed.
5Loaves 2Fish opened at Ameris Bank Tower in late 2016 after the food truck was popular for several years.
Toben Stubee opened the 174-seat restaurant at the Ameris building because of the food truck's popularity with employees at the tower, he told Action News Jax news partner Jacksonville Business Journal in September.
A patron sent Action News Jax an email from the property owner Tuesday. It said in part:
"This email is to inform you that the café closed today, and will no longer be in operation as 5Loaves 2Fish. More information will follow in the coming days."
A post on the 5Loaves 2Fish Facebook page Thursday said it was a family decision to close the business.
