ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — New body camera video has been released showing the aftermath of a July trolley crash in St. Augustine.
In the video, you can see crews working to treat people who were hurt.
The trolley tipped over during the crash and at least 12 people were hurt.
Passengers also told detectives the driver “gunned it” and started going really fast.

Some were thrown from the trolley and others were pinned underneath. An officer said it was unlike anything she’s seen before.
“I can tell you this. In 18 years, I’ve never seen an accident like that. Like that way. I’ve never seen that. He must have just hit it absolutely. Just hit it absolutely perfectly for that to happen. It’s crazy,” she said.
