Clay Police Athletic League’s Donut Get Caught 5K & Fun Run this weekend

ORANGE PARK, Fla. — The Clay Police Athletic League’s Dounut Get Caught 5K & Fun Run will take place on Sat., May 13 in Orange Park.

The event will feature a 5K race, free kids fun run and of course, free donuts!

The 5K will kickoff at 8 a.m. with the Kid’s Fun Run starting an hour later at 9 a.m. Donut Get Caught will be held at the Orange Park Mall, in the grassy area in front of Dick’s Sporting Goods.

Free T-shirts, kids medals, 5K medals for all finishers and DONUTS will be offered.

Packet pickups for race day will be available May 11 and 12 from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. Those looking to register can show up at the Police Athletics League of Clay County Clubhouse at 470 Woodside Dr., Orange Park. Late registration and day of registration packet pickup will be available on race day as well. However, runners are encouraged to pick up their packets early on May 11 and 12.

Clay PAL’s main goal for the event is to make a difference in the lives of youth of Clay County. They offer programs such as baseball, cheerleading and football for youth to become involved in. An explorers program is also provided for those looking to learn about a career in law enforcement.
