JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Crews removed all remnants of Howard Schneider from his former office Wednesday.
Former patients and parents say the building is where he abused children. Paulette Gutierrez tells Action News Jax its been years since she was inside the building, but she still has vivid memories.

“If you didn’t do what he said he would grab you by the throat and throw you back in the chair,” she says of her encounters with Schneider. The former dentist was arrested in 2015.
In February the state dropped Medicaid fraud charges against Schneider due to incompetence.

Now, workers say the property is owned by the bank. Crews explain that all medical documents left behind will be shredded.
