Daytona Beach police, FBI, ATF launch investigation into Facebook post

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Daytona Beach Police, the FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) are conducting a joint investigation into a Facebook post.

The post, belonging to a Daytona Beach man, calls for people pick up guns and kill white police officers, police said.

Police said the man in the picture is holding two assault rifles.

Despite the investigation, police won’t say if they believe it is a credible threat.
