Three cats were stuck inside a condo after fire broke out in St. Johns County on Monday.
St. Johns County firefighters were called to the 800 block of Spinnakers Reach Drive on Monday afternoon.
After evacuating all of the residents in the building that caught fire, firefighters learned there were three cats unaccounted for.
One of the firefighters found two cats inside a smoke-filled condo. One cat was unconscious and both were treated for smoke inhalation using a special CPR machine for pets.
A third cat was found hiding inside the condo a few hours later.
The cats are doing well and will be evaluated by a veterinarian, St. Johns County Fire Rescue said.
No other injuries were reported.
