CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. — Catawba County sheriff's Deputies were on the scene Friday of a large marijuana grow found in a man's garden.

A deputy driving past the home spotted the plants, which investigators said were as big as Christmas trees.
Deputies said the plants could be seen from the road.
Sheriff Coy Reid said just one of the plants weighed 23 pounds.
