ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — James Colley Jr. is expected in court Sunday morning in St. Johns County.
Colley is suspected in the death of his wife Amanda Cloaninger-Colley and her close friend, Lindy Dobbins.
Deputies said Cloaninger-Colley had a restraining order against Colley.
Colley fled to Virginia after the shooting but was arrested August 27th.
The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office said 35-year-old Colley was arrested on suspicion of murder and driving under the influence late Thursday after a traffic stop in Norton, Virginia.
He was also charged with DUI and taken to the Duffield Regional Jail in Duffield, Virginia.
He was extradited to St. Johns County on Saturday.
The State Attorney’s Office indicted Colley on Friday on charges of first-degree murder, two attempts of first-degree murder with a firearm and aggravated stalking in the death of his wife.
