Former Jaguar linebacker Telvin Smith facing animal cruelty citations

Jacksonville, Fla. — The ex-Jacksonville Jaguars star, Telvin Smith, is back in the spotlight with more legal trouble – several civil citations for animal neglect.

The Jacksonville Animal Care and Protective Services say he left dogs tethered and unattended in his yard, as well as not registering his animals.

Earlier in April, Smith was arrested for accusations of unlawful sexual activity with a minor.

Smith has yet to speak out about any allegations against him.
