Jacksonville ranked No. 138 among ethnically diverse cities in the U.S., WalletHub study shows

A new study looks at which cities in the country are considered the most diverse.

For Florida, you might be surprised where some cities fell on that list.

Action News Jax’s Chandler Morgan dug into the findings from WalletHub.

The study used several factors to find the rankings. They looked at each city based on ethnicity, race, language and birthplace.

Orlando scored the highest, coming in at No. 13 on the list.

The next Florida city on the list is Tampa, ranked No. 56.

But you have to get into the mid-100s to find Jacksonville. The River City game in at No. 138 on the list.

Travel even further south and you’ll find Miami didn’t even break the top 200.

Keep in mind, the closer the city is to the No. 1 spot means they have the best conditions for ethnic diversity.
